Hey, I'm Emilia, a web design and WordPress strategist and educator

I’m truly honored you’ve found your way to my neck of the woods on the Internet. Over the last 20 years, our team has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs, small business owners and freelancers from around the world, helping to build their brands, websites and online businesses so they can do what they were meant to do in this world, and make money doing it.

When I started my business in 2010, I had no idea what I was doing online, no network, no direction. Since then, a LOT has changed.

I grew our team from 1 to 3 and developed a small, curated network of industry partners

OUT for the weekend … I got to start off the day by turning on the car to a special classical music rendition with Christmas songs that B surprised me with today (and also on our first date 9 years ago this year 😳) … a 90 min massage and a lovely drive to Keswick to spend the weekend with @nurtureretreats … with “free time” I have no idea what to do because I haven’t had “free me time” since god knows when.

I just finished up a walking call with @doctorjack

I just finished up a walking call with @doctorjackiend (this was my view - photo above) where we lined up a workable strategy that can suit her lifestyle right now as she navigates her son's remission journey within the Canadian medical system as a practicing Naturopathic doctor.

We spoke about the privileges and luck in each of our lives as Canadians, women and business owners as well as the hardships that come along with that at the same time.

We were able to reframe and create something that will empower those who may find themselves in a similar situation as she. We turned her experience into something pretty exciting, pretty hopeful.

It is a reminder that this is all we're trying to do in our service-based businesses.

This weekend we traveled by 🚗 to celebrate the wedding of @dianamg_22 and @ed_doc_karma in NYC, it was our first full-on family trip, and the girls' first wedding reception experience.

It was magical ✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On day three of the trip, the ceremony was over and we were walking back inside, up some steep cement stairs. I was carrying my youngest in one arm, holding up the bottom of my dress in the other, and verbally coaxing my eldest up the stairs watching and ready to catch her if she somehow fell backwards.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'd argue this is nothing new, and a regular occurrence to many reading this: mom multi-tasking at its finest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we were settled at the top, standing in line, a woman behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said "I need to acknowledge you for climbing those stairs so gracefully while holding a baby, in heels, and that dress with your other daughter right here. It deserved to be acknowledged. It was amazing."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was so sweet, and I was so shocked, because of the entire experience of driving 7+ hours both ways, being cooped up in hotel room, navigating being a tourist, seeing family, screaming kids, figuring out naps, and sleep schedules, eating and everything in between - climbing the stairs was the least of the trip's challenges. I was so grateful so this woman to take time out of her day to say this to me - it made me smile.
